Facilitation

Leadership Tompkins is faciltated by Susan Greener. She is a Business Development and Training Specialist for TC3.biz , a positon which allows her to coordinate the workforce training programs area businesses and organizations need to be successful.

Susan wants every Leadership Tompkins participant to have the best opportunity for personal, professional, and service success throughout their careers in Tompkins County. She endeavors to create a mix of experiential leadership learning, formal and informal networking, thought-provoking discussions, access to new experiences, and opportunities to have fun in our resource-rich community!

She encourages her participants to take responsibilty for their learning by being present in all senses of the word--by challenging, questioning, opening their minds, and by connecting with others in meaningful ways. The diversity of individuals that participate in Leadership Tompkins continues to inspire her.

 Advisory Board

The Leadership Tompkins Advisory Board members have many roles, but primarily they

• Advise the faciltator about current program topics, community issues, and resources
• Provide fiscal governance
• Assist in recruiting and selecting program participants
• Take part in program activities in order to network with program participants
• Help maintain Leadership Tompkins's relationship wtih alumni
• Act as ambassadors for Leadership Tompkins in the community

If you are a participant, Sharon will most likely be the one sending you the agenda and answering your questions about the schedule and other details.
